Our story did not begin recently.
It began in 1979, with our father.

It was a passion our father carried with him across borders. He would travel to places like Cambodia, Assam, and Burma, returning each time with pieces of dark, fragrant wood unlike anything we had ever seen before.

• As children, we were filled with curiosity.
• Why was this wood so dark?
• Why did its scent feel so rich, deep, and unforgettable?
  
  

Instead of simply answering our questions, our father taught us through experience. He introduced us to the world of Oud, a world built on patience, purity, craftsmanship, and tradition.

He explained how Oud is formed deep within the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. When certain trees are naturally wounded over time, they slowly produce a precious aromatic resin as part of their healing process which transforms the wood into one of the rarest and most valued natural scents in the world.

For our father, Oud was never just a product or a trade. It was part of a heritage. A symbol of refinement, presence, and sincerity. He believed that wearing Oud was not only a tradition, but also a Sunnah  something deeply connected to dignity, cleanliness, and beauty.

Every journey he made was personal. He carefully hand selected each piece of Oud with extraordinary attention to detail. Quality was never compromised. He believed true craftsmanship required patience, honesty, and excellence in every step.

Watching him shaped the values that define Bin Zubair today.

What he passed on to us was more than knowledge of fragrance. He taught us that Oud carries meaning. It carries memories, emotions, and legacy. To us, its scent will always remind us of him, his passion, his character, and the care he put into everything he touched.

That is why Bin Zubair is not simply a perfume brand.

It is an extension of his story.
